Ok, so this is probably going to be my only public post, but it's just to explain a little bit about what's going to be on this thing...
First of all, Madeline Black is a character in The Amorwood Chronicles, which is the fantasy series that I'm writing with my very best friend, Alison. This journal is![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
madeline_blake because madeline_black was taken...my guess is because of Sirius Black, but whatever. Anyway, that's the deal with the name.
So to get down to it - this is my writing/creative journal. I'll be posting excerpts of my work here along with illustrations of those works, character studies, random writing-related tangents, and so on. This is where I'll post updates on anything I'm working on and what has me excited or disappointed about it at the moment. This will be the first place I'l go to flesh out ideas and whatnot. It's basically a tool to develop my writing itself as well as my writing style and hopefully to get a little feedback.
I would of course suggest that those friended here also check out my "sister journal,"vivianne_rhyen which, as you may have guessed, is Alison's writing journal. If you're here mostly for A-Chron, you may be interested in what she has to say about it. So by all means, go introduce yourself and request to be added over there. It's all her prerogative who she adds, naturally, but yea.
As of now, it's quite a small group I have here, which I'm actually pretty excited about. I hope that those on this list will comment with any insights they have on what is posted - we'll see how all that goes.
